Stimulating motor competence through field games: an experimental study on elementary school students

چکیده
Motoric competence is a competency that requires understanding in carrying out physical activities. However, the learning process motor carried without support of so it results students experiencing difficulties and confusion executing skills they have when different environment during training or learning. The research aims to measure success stimulation by using field games approach. was conducted pre-experimental type with One Group Pretest Posttest Designs type. experiment on twelve elementary school fourteen meetings. involved fourth grade who were taken randomly selecting numbers at random. instrument for measuring students' used Test Gross Motor Development revision 2 edition (TGMD-2) playing Games Performance Assessment Instrument (GPAI) measurement analyzed quantitative descriptive method. showed there had been an increase rating average score performance. This result due approach which able encourage be active making movements facilitating metacognition processes such as decision making, critical thinking, problem-solving. conclusion done can stimulate
